IGALAXY / INFORMATION
Accessibility.
A site with room for everyone.
Last updated 23 October 2026
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use igalaxy.co.uk, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of how we design and build, not an afterthought.
What you can do on this site
- Navigate the whole site with a keyboard, with a “Skip to content” link and visible focus indicators.
- Pause the ambient galaxy animation with the motion control. The site also respects your device’s “reduce motion” setting.
- Zoom text up to 200% without content being lost, and use the site on small screens.
- Use the discipline tabs with the arrow keys as well as a mouse or touch.
- Use the contact form with screen readers, with every field labelled. The contact window can be closed with the Escape key, and focus returns to the button that opened it.
- Hear meaningful content without decorative icons and illustrations getting in the way, as they are hidden from assistive technology.
The AbilityNet “My Computer My Way” site has advice on making your own device easier to use.
Known limitations
We know some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible:
- Some visual effects respond to mouse movement. They are decorative, so you do not miss any information by not using a mouse, but they may be distracting. You can stop the motion with the pause control or your device’s reduce-motion setting.
- The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check provided by a third party. We cannot fully control its accessibility. If it stops you sending a message, please call us instead.
- The invitation confirmation page uses a simpler, older layout that we have not yet brought in line with the rest of the site.
- Client logos are shown as images. Each one has a text alternative naming the organisation.
We are working to fix these issues and will update this page as we do.
Tell us about a problem
If you find something on the site difficult to use, or you need information in a different format, please email [email protected] or call 020 7993 8282.
It helps if you tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
How we test
We check the site through manual keyboard testing, automated accessibility checks, screen reader spot checks, and testing on desktop and mobile browsers. We review accessibility whenever we make significant changes to the site.
